First we need to talk about the main protagonist’s name in, The Snowman. Harry Hole. Yes, Inspector Harry Hole and yes because I’m a child when I heard his name I acted like a child and giggled. That said, Inspector Harry Hole is an interesting character and I’m enticed to read the complete series to see how his character develops over time. This is after all the seventh book in the Harry Hole series. I’m sure there is a lot that I probably didn’t pick up with jumping into the story in the seventh book but I could easily follow along and didn’t feel like I was missing anything.
The Snowman is a horrific read. I’ve read a lot over the last year and never once have I been that paranoid when I got ready for bed. Highly recommend reading especially in the winter when it’s the coldest time of year.
