“Come, Watson, come!” he cried. The game is afoot.” – Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
Written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
First published monthly in The Strand magazine between 1891-1892

I took a two month break from reading Sherlock. Let me tell you… I absolutely missed him and Doctor Watson. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is a collection of twelve short stories all independent of one another yet had small nods to previous cases. Aside from meeting the famous Irene Adler, my two favorite stories were The Five Orange Pips, (I just really didn’t expect a certain group to show up in a Sherlock story), and The Man with the Twisted Lip. I ended up rating this book a 5/5 and can’t wait to dive back in maybe next month? Who knows.

I decided to set the location backdrop for this photo in Charleston, South Carolina. Mostly because it would be absolutely amazing to see Sherlock in a southern city like Charleston.
